How to read the map
Solid cards are people. Dashed cards are institutions. Coral labels mark every linked RH dossier. Party, state, military, intelligence, weapons, and financial bodies remain distinct even when one person holds offices across more than one system.

Method and limits
This is a selected public-record map, not a complete model of North Korean power. It distinguishes WPK bodies, state institutions, intelligence and internal-security agencies, military command, weapons-development organizations, foreign ministries, and state finance.
North Korean state media establish the roles or activities they display, but are not treated as independent corroboration. External government and specialist sources are labeled by source type. Formal office, institutional coordination, and a dated public event do not establish private influence or control over every decision.
The map reflects the 29 August 2026 military reshuffle and the still-developing 2026 intelligence and police reorganization. The General Political Bureau remains active while its permanent director is marked unresolved. Office 39 remains on the map with an explicit caveat that its exact post-Congress placement is not fully public. Every card links to a dossier that can be revised as later sources clarify the structure.
